You can choose the categories the app will search and display in the Instant search widget and the Search results widget.


Please follow the instructions below to hide a category from search:


1. From your Searchanise control panel, go to Preferences → Categories.


2. Click Edit categories and change the status of any category from Active to Hidden.


Note: by default, all the categories are set to Active.


3. Click Save changes.


4. Go to the Dashboard and click the Force re-indexation button, or use the link the app will offer.


After the re-indexation is complete, the selected categories won’t be shown in the search.
